Structural Steel Factory of SK "Eksstroymontazh" is situated in Ramenskoe, Moscow Region. Structural steel fabrication is one of our main businesses. We fabricate nearly 1,400 ton/month. That is enough to supply 4-5 middle-size construction facilities at a time. Sheet metal is pattern-cut at a portal thermal cutting machine with numeric control; structural steel is welded only with semiautomatic machines in the protective atmosphere; rolled sections are cut with modern band-saws, and all the variety of metal-cutting machines is used to mechanically finish the surfaces.

We are constantly monitoring quality of structural steel fabrication using ultrasound joints inspection, sand-blasting of surfaces, painting and drying in a special paint spray chamber. Up-to-date fabrication equipment let us produce 300-350 ton of structural steel a week. Unfortunately, nowadays some dishonest contractors build structural steel right at the construction site trying to save on fabrication facilities; they do not want to "share" with a structural steel factory. In most cases both the Contractor and the Investor lose on such savings.

Modern technology of erecting buildings with the frame made of light-gauge prefabricated constructions suggests ultimate factory-readiness of these constructions. This allows for most structural steel fabrication operations to be performed with highly efficient equipment and relatively low expenses; on the other hand, we can control quality of structural steel using our production infrastructure: Technical Control Department, our engineers, instrumental monitoring and nondestructive inspection.
